He was the nations #1 QB, multiple allsec QB, and the alltime leading passer.
He did throw a beautiful spiral. That isn't even close to accurate.
His stats and rings (SEC and MNC) speak for themselves. Would've loved so see him in Spurrier's offence--or any offence that utilized vertical passing. That he did.
That isn't even close to accurate.
How so?
You just cited a bunch of facts that have zero to do with Law's post.Leak was the #2 QB recruit (such a difference), Freshman All-SEC and Freshman All-American, '04 AP All-SEC, '05 AP All-SEC, '06 Coaches All-SEC (does every single year qualify as multiple???), He is UF's all-time leader in passing yards, tied for 2nd in passing TD's (26 shy of Danny), and when he graduated was #2 all-time in SEC passing (he's now #4)
Because people don't look it up
He was the nations #1 QB, multiple allsec QB, and the alltime leading passer despite having 3 OCs in 4 years, one who called only bubble screens (worked w Randy Moss in 1AA) and one who called 80% options and 20% screens.
I guess Wuerrfel wasnt elite either since he wasnt fast and good at running the option. smh
That isn't even close to accurate.
Simple. He was neither the nation's No. 1 quarterback nor the SEC's all-time leading passer.I have highlighted what you quoted, he did this in response to a comment on Leak, and I've quoted your entire post, what am I missing?
Give em the silent treatment, eh? Instead of booing, everyone grow uncomfortably silent. I hate getting the silent treatment at home. Would rather get booed.Well the mediots are correct that the player don't know the fans are not booing them, but equally true is that hushed stadium after bad play call after bad play call is to me equally expressing dissatisfaction as booing and players know that too.

No, just a few fans giving credit when credit is due.Now this thread is about Chris Leak?
Ok.The idea that Spurrier would have ever played him a down leaves me almost a speechless as the Frank is another Grossman comment. This is turning into comedy gold.

is it any wonder about your status in social matters.......
I always thought he would have been a perfect QB in the SOS system. Too bad he was in three different schemes. The man was loyal to our program. and like you said he has the hardware AND stats to back it up. He is one of the only non SOS QBs in the top 6 in career stats. Timmy being the other........His stats and rings (SEC and MNC) speak for themselves. Would've loved so see him in Spurrier's offence--or any offence that utilized vertical passing.
