Hayes leads the team with 12pts, 6rbs.

KJ is second with 10 points on 5-6 shooting.

well it changed a lot

We are the better team and don't lose anything when we need to substitute our depth players in there. La Salle has a noticeable drop-off when some of their starters roll out.

Gators have been lock-down on defense in the 2nd half too.

Florida is up 67-46 at the under 8 timeout. Offense starting to play better. Shooting still ugly though

Nembhard should have double digit assists tonight.

Completely forgot La Salle beat us in 1990. But that was the DeVoe dumpster fire season so that’s obviously a repressed memory.

Chase Johnson has proved to be worth the wait--impressive work down low.

Walk-on time now...always root for those guys to get on the scoresheet.

Okaru has picked up the dribble twice in the last offensive series--prompting a timeout for one and on the other, got pretty lucky not to turn it over.

One of the walk-ons at the FT line now...makes one!

LOL at La Salle leaving starters in when our walkons are in to make score more respectable. Those last 2 minutes were brutal to watch.

What's with all the missed layups?

Getting "to the rim" only to clang-miss or "rim-rollover" is pathetic. It was our trademark last year. Worse, I never see our opponents afflicted so. When players nervous-out on the inside touch, teach them the crisp bank.
Nembhard is doing well for being thrown into the fray right away. Will pay dividends down the road.

Final score 82 to 69. Gators go 3 for 13 at the arc...more ouch.

Nembhard had 7 assists to 1 TO, but didn't score much. Good thing Allen is good at FT...8 for 8.

Here are some positives from the game. I didn't see many pointed out in the game thread: We had 46 points in the paint and only shot 13 3 pointers so our focus was to get the ball inside which we did with great success. We complain on here that we ONLY shoot 3 pointers but we REALLY attacked the rim tonight so great coaching by White there. We shot 56% for the game and 61% in the 2nd half and used a 17-1 run to blow the game open early in the 2nd half. We were able to force 19 turnovers with our press and our largest lead was 24. 3 games in our team is trying to find our identity and working on different lineups. Still very early in the season. Go Gators!!
