How is Toney being injured any different than LDR, Zaire, Clevland, Davis, on and on and on being injured? With the new W&C coach he should put on 10-15 pounds to 195 he's at now.
It wouldn't surprise me if Mullen gives Toney a look at QB in the spring. He did play QB in HS and might be a better fit than any of the QB's currently on scholarship.
Right now they are forecasting this to impact the Panhandle, North Florida area the morning of the 8th.

After another last minute victory yesterday I have serious doubts we can beat TA&M LSU or UGA. Now with another QB controversy looming we’re right where we were this time last year. I just have no faith in the coach’s ability to make adjustments from game to game and show positive progression...
Actually I didn't think it was a bad officiated game. However the one foul I saw that I believe the refs let Wis get away with was in the inbound pass by the Gators at end of regulation. It was inbounded pass half-court and a Gator player jumped up for the ball and a Wis player came up over...
If he doesn't put them in against LSU with no prior experience then one of them will probably start the 1st game of the season next year against Michigan with no prior experience! Unless anyone thinks LDR will be the starter next year.
Well I sure hope that if AA struggles against USCe he doesn't remain adamant about not using one of the freshman. Supposedly they both have great arm strength which is what we are lacking for the deep pass and right now the SEC defenses are quite aware of that fact.
At this point unless Mac pulls one of the redshirts and plays Trask or Franks we will have the same game experience at the QB position as we do now. Virtually non existent. Then it will be another learning curve season for either of the QB's based on the assumption LDR will not be the starter...
Thanks. That is my point exactly. We will be forced to play an undependable QB to start next season or 2 redshirt freshmen QB's with no game experiance and a true freshman QB. I really don't think that is a great situation to start next season against Michigan.
One thing that I feel is being overlooked is that the 1st game of the season next year is against Michigan in Arlington TX. Appleby will be gone. The only QB with any game experience will be LDR unless they pull the redshirt off Trask or Franks. Based on the performance of LDR it doesn't...
