Gators rally in the 4th inning, hit 2 homers and capitalize on a error from Georgia to score 12 runs. One of those homers was a 2 run Cags moonshot to right field over the scoreboard. Luke Heyman had a 3 run double in the inning to clear the bases. Shelnut had 2 doubles in the inning. I think...
Absolute beatdown from the first pitch. Cags hitting streak come to an end today as well. Don't see us winning a game in this series and will probably get bounced first game in the SEC tournament.
Gators hit another solo homer. Down 4-2 going to bottom 4th. This Georgia pitcher is throwing a lot of strikes but our batters look like they are using a "take until he throws a strike" approach. We get behind in the count and then go chasing obvious balls on 0-2 counts. Mind boggling.
Sully yanks the starting pitcher in the 4th, Clemente comes in with runners on 3rd and 2nd no outs and gets out of it with no runs given up. Struck out 2 and got the 3rd batter to ground out to 2nd. Thought he did a great job of getting ahead and staying ahead in the count. Had good control that...
Heyman hits a bomb to left center field for our only run of the day. Cags gets his first intentional walk of the series and we stranded 2 on base. Down 4-1 going into the bottom 3rd.
We start out 3 up and 3 down. We proceed to hit the leadoff batter, their version of Cags drives one through 3rd and SS. Next 2 batters hit warning track fly balls to score 1 run and then we give up a 2 run homer. Down 3-0 after 1 inning.
3 up and 3 down in the 2nd again for our batters...
My god this Ump behind the plate is absolutely awful, we have got the brunt of it but he seems to be having a change of heart in these last couple of innings. Maybe he hates his wife or mom and doesn't want to leave the ballpark.
Yikes, total meltdown. Bases loaded for Kentucky and we make a bonehead mistake to not cover first on an infield dribbler. They go up 4-3. Bases still juiced for Kentucky with 2 outs, we have our outfield playing in and our LF misjudges the ball, goes over his head for 3 runs. Down 7-3 top 10th
Tied 3-3, bottom of the 9th bases loaded with 2 outs. Let's see if we can get it done here. Sure would be nice to have Cags up right now but he is on deck.
Also, we got some love from the ump on the last at bat to load the bases. They just waited till the 9th is all
Afraid to type anything but the Gators have fought back to tie it up in the bottom of the 9th 3-3. Have had to battle the Umps today as well. We have a runner on 1st with 1 out.
Also, Cags tied the streak for most consecutive games with a hit for a Gator with 30.
A walk, another 2 out walk, followed by a hit by pitch, and then super mario for Kentucky clears the bases with a 3 run double. Down 12-9 going into the bottom of the 10th.
Freshman battles to a 3-2 count with 2 outs and a man on 1st. Puts it in play with a short pop fly that the Kentucky 2nd baseman dropped. Next batter singles through 2nd to tie the game. 9-9 with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th and runners on 2nd and 3rd
Haven't caught many of the games this year but I don't understand leaving the kid out there after that. He started ahead on all 3 hitters to start the inning. Bottom of the 8th we have a guy on 2nd with 2 outs and our batter takes strike 3 straight down the pipe. Kentucky has 2 on with 2 outs in...
