The top 10 toughest 2017 schedules in the country according to the ESPN Football Power Index:

1. Cal
2. LSU
3. USC
4. Georgia
5. Florida
6. Stanford
7. South Carolina
8. UCLA
9. Arizona State
10. Alabama

other notables:

13. FSU
15. Mississippi State
16. Texas A&M
17. Vanderbilt
19. Auburn
20. Clemson
30. Tennessee
31. Arkansas
32. Kentucky
35. Oklahoma
37. Ole Miss
45. Miami
52. Ohio State
53. Missouri
55. Michigan

We are fortunate to get many of the tougher games at the Swamp. However, Michigan, Tennessee, LSU, Texas A&M and FSU is a pretty good lineup of opponents. Most of the weaker teams on our schedule are considered to be on the rise including Kentucky and Georgia. If we make it to Atlanta again it's possible the Gators will have played the toughest schedule in all the land.

Seems like the Pac-12 is getting some love -
Don't see a lot of ACC in there

Tough year ahead as always. Gators better be ready. Glad we have many of these at Home. Defend the Swamp.

It's also possible Butters McNeuheisel will become the only coach to have won the East division with a 6-6 overall record....

I am guessing this does not take into account where the games are played. Due to the flip of the LSU game we play more home games than we typically do. So we play an easier schedule than we normally do other than the Michigan opener.

I know it looks good on paper but I won't put a lot of stock into the Michigan game. They will be replacing 20(?) starters from last years team and it will probably take them 3 or 4 games to get on track. Who ever rushes the ball best in this game will win a very boring 13-10 or so game more than likely. The rest of the schedule could get scary if injuries begin to mount on the defensive side of the ball though.
