No score thru 2 innings. Cags already with 3 walks so pitch count is up but guess you can say he has been effectively wild. Got out of the 2nd after Thomas committed a throwing error trying to double the runner off 1st base which he had zero chance to do, but thankfully no harm.

LSU leads 1-0 after 4. 1 out double followed by a single to left in which they were holding the runner at 3rd but Shelnut boots it when fielding the ball allowing the run to score. Second error today. And after Heyman struck out earlier for the 7th time this weekend I wondered if on days Cags pitches that maybe move Shelnut to 1B and put a better defender in LF.

If we could move the run over that would be amazing. Can’t get a bunt down, K. We look lost this weekend minus Evans / Cags.

Well what do you know? Right om cue as I mentioned Heyman was 0 for 9 with 7 K's this weekend he hits a sinking line drive to LF scoring Evans and also Shelnut from 1B when the ball got away from LF on the diving catch attempt. Nice job Heyman. 4-1 Gators, pitching change

At what point will Kurland finally say enough? Hopefully now after seeing the ball fly over the RF fence. "I am going to try and stop pulling the ball every at bat." It seems like every time he is willing to hit the ball the other way good things happen. Keep thinking right field Cade.

You guys left out the best part! After Jones for LSU hit solo shot he posed at plate and ran his mouth to Cags and Heyman. Warning was issued to both sides, then when Cags struck out next batter he said a few things to him on way to dugout and hitter talked back. LSU Coach came out screaming at Ump for not going after Cags and Ump tossed his ass! Great stuff!

This may be Cags best pitching performance. The off speed stuff is dominating. Not of the swing and miss stuff but incredibly effective.

Cags best inning was his final inning. 3 pop ups. His stuff is plenty good that if he could get away from those walks (5 today in 7 innings) he could easily go 7 on a weekly basis.
