I always found that ironic all those years they came to Hogtown to play UF or when they reached the tourney. BC historically dominated that conference in baseball made up of all HBCU teams and often would go undefeated in conference play. And as you mentioned, it was b/c they were a minor league Hispanic all star team, LOL.

scrotUM leads 2-1 after 3 innings. Fisher surrenders a 2 run HR on a 3-0 count. He is pitching okay but just does not quite to seem to have as good of location as he had last season, Might be that starting versus relieving and he is trying to be a little more perfect.

Gators up 3-2 bottom of the 4th. Great slide at home by Evans and a great call by the umpire in real time in what should have been an easy out. Gator hitters with 7 strikeouts thru 4 innings. Need to put the ball in play a little more.

Fisher out after only 70 or so pitches. 4 2/3 innings leaves with runners on 1st and 2nd after hitting the same batter for the 2nd time tonight. Sully gave him a chance to get out of the inning but got a little too fine against their best HR hitter. Slater in and promptly hits the first better he faces on a 2-2 count. Bases loaded Slater walks the next guy on 4 pitches. scrotUM scores on an infield hit, 2 hit batters and a walk. Just ridiculous.

Yeah took a couple pitches to settle in but slater looks great. First time I've said that about a gator pitcher all season so far.

6-3 headed to the 9th. Kudos to Slater after getting off to a terrible start, retired the next 10 hitters he faced. 3 1/3 innings in a stressful situation. I am guessing Neely pitches the 9th but would love to add a lot of insurance. Ball flies out of that park very easily. No lead is safe.
