We obviously don't have the bodies to have a real game. So why not let the boys go at with a format that fits our depth at several positions? Most of the players have played in 7 on 7 tournaments. it would give the skill players a chance to have more space and make things happen. Give the fans something to cheer about by seeing some passing, and we wouldn't be tipping our hands to our opponents by what we really are setting up to do.

Maybe the best idea if they are looking to have a spring game. I'm sure they'll do whatever Mac thinks will be most beneficial

Your not gonna get a any kind of a turn out playing flag football. We wanna see these guys in pads. Even it's very limited contact

Decent idea, but I think it would be boring to watch as our "Spring Game".

Is this Rugby 7s? Here in Iowa, small high schools play 8 on 8 and arena ball plays 8 on 8 with 3 linemen.

We are so thin at O-line (thanks Chump), I don't really care what they do. I just want them to get through spring healthy at that position.

No spring game.:headshake: I'm not attending. When the Chump did his glorified practice session it was so boring and gave me no Idea of what type of team we could possibly have in the fall. We're in deep trouble without sufficient linemen. I hate to be negative but the Gators and their fans are in for another season of pathetic offence and one or two injuries away from having any shot of competing in the SEC East.

With only 7 OL we can't have a spring game...it's going to be a glorified practice as it has been the last few years....the ineptitude of the last staff knows no bounds.

I think it will be like when NFL teams practice with other teams. Lots of practice with the skilled players, not so much physical contact with linemen. It can be very entertaining, and valuable for the participants. Having a simulated game with restrictions is not essential. I might like the idea of playing arena type ball on a portion of the swamp.

No reason to even have a spring game. I'll say that 7 on 7 can be entertaining. I've watched GHS play like that over the summers. Good stuff. You'd certainly get to see the QBs play because there's no running the ball in that format.

Why not have 3 Olineman play on the downs? Then at least there could be some more practice for the most valuable players on our team.

Anzalone Mcmillan

DR Powell Dillard/ coach hiking football C Lewis/Immatorbe Fulwood

Grier/Treon

KT.

Lane has been left off because he apparently can't catch a football.
