And speaking of "Jackson"....Jackson State just fired their head coach, Tony Hughes - who was a long time Dan Mullen assistant before taking the JSU job. This also means Brady Ackerman will be out of a job (unless he's retained by the new JSU coach):

Jackson will be the team's fifth head coach since 2010. No one churns out coaches like the Factory of Sadness. Not only will Jackson be the Browns' eighth coach since the team re-entered the league in 1999, but he'll also be the team's fifth head coach in just six years. Jackson follows in the footsteps of Mike Pettine, Rob Chudzinski, Pat Shurmur and Eric Mangini, who have all coached the Browns since 2010.

How can you go 0-16 and keep your job in the NFL, regardless of circumstances? Think about it: Any person or object on Earth could have had the same record.

Actually that's interesting. I never pictured Urban as a pro coach but it could solve some things for him right now:

1) Gets to bail out on his currently situation
2) No more college recruiting and crapola

This is actually very surprising because the talk on the street was Haley wanted the HC job and an interim HC for the rest of the year would have made sense.
