I'm a huge fan of Parks and Rec (obviously) and the Office. Parks and Rec starts off slow and gets better with each season. If you've never watched it before, you may want to start with season 2, watch them all, and then watch season 1 last. I thought season 1 was funnier after the show ended than when I first saw it.

There's lots of good 30 for 30's on Netflix as well if you're a documentary type of guy. I also enjoy the show TURN, which is about the spy ring during the American Revolution. The show takes some liberties on a few things with the subplots, but for the most part it's historically accurate on the main plot points.

How close is Turn to the book (if you read it)? I really enjoyed parts of the book, and other parts I thought were too drawn out.

I've never read the book, but I would like to. I imagine that if you like the book, you'd like the show too.

Archer is great. I know this season is not on Netflix yet but it is beyond awesome. It is, by far, the best season.

Hands down, the best series I've ever seen on TV is The Wire. Not on Netflix though.

Archer, DareDevil (surprisingly good action), Burn Notice is fun until the last couple of seasons, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead is hit and miss but easier to watch on Netflix, The League (funny $hit, see clip), Always Sunny in Philadelphia (funnier ****).

I love The League - Taco is hilarious as is Rafi:

Rafi, Sofia's deranged, obnoxious brother, aka "Bro-lo el Cuñado." Best friend and possible lover of porn director Dirty Randy. He was an altar boy as a child, but had to quit after he raped a priest. Down for anything no matter what, to an extreme. He always calls Pete "Tall Guy" and believes Kevin's name is Brian. His residence has a large number of "load-bearing chairs" stacked up and has a "toilet-kitchen". Rafi stores a never-ending supply of hotdogs in his pants, referring to them as "pocket-dogs." He is a diabetic. He gets "murder boners" when practicing his MMA skills and gets a "War Boner" when playing paintball.
Many times when he vomits, he defecates. Many times when he defecates, he orgasms

The Fall with Gillian Anderson was excellent. And it had nothing to do with how friggin hot she is.

I do like how the BBC-produced series' seasons are far shorter than our shows. Excellent quality, extremely enjoyable and much less of a time suck. Peaky Blinders was good, too, though sometimes I have a hard time hearing or understanding the dialog with those accents (Might be time for a new telley with better audio. Or hearing aids...). On my current Beeb kick, I plan to start Orphan Black one of these days.

And by binge do you mean that the series has ended.

Doesn't matter - I can watch something that has ended (John Adams) or try and catch up on something in progress (my son said Narcos is good). The Pacific was fantastic - makes me appreciate Chesty Puller and that badass John Basilone all that much more.

Gillian Anderson is my wife when I'm asleep. We have two kids, unlimited money and a seriously awesome bass boat. She loves banjo music, helping me with my DraftKings FF lineup and giving me back rubs. :naughty:

Might as well go whole-hog and get the anatomically correct blow-up doll.

The wire is probably the best show ever made. I think you can watch it on Amazon prime.

Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Orange is the new black, Archer, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, The Flash, Parks and Rec. There's a lot of good comedy specials too.
