Anyone else worried about the prospect of playing UCF in a New Year's 6 bowl?

Anyone really want to fly to Phoenix to watch us play a creampuff Orlando Community College?

Or that the bowls are going to take four SEC teams?

Why would UF get in that spot over Kentucky?

If I'm correct, we are tied in the SEC-East standings but they own the tie-breaker.

What worries me more than anything is that our fan base has turned into a bunch of mincing pansies who are afraid of competition.

I would not mind facing UCF.

But why would they want 2 teams to play in AZ from the same area.

I'd rather Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta, Dallas, Miami...

My guess is Outback.

It's the extra practice and new redshirt rules that intrigue me.

Bowls want ratings and money, the standings are only one excuse they will use if they don't want someone.

So a complacent fanbase or a UK fanbase who rarely plays after Christmas.

Tough choice.

Florida fans travel, we have the 5th most travelling fanbase in the country.... that means city makes money off of food, hotels, and purchases... or Kentucky where football is a secondary sport.

Say UCF loses a game, I’m guessing they’d be knocked out of NY6. Who could we meet if we still make a NY6 game?

Screw playing Big 10 teams -- those schools should be banned for their boring football. I yawned twice just writing this post and imagining the matchups.

This.

I'm sick of playing Iowa/Michigan/Big 10. At least facing UCF would be an interesting game given how underrated they think they are. I would definitely consider flying out there for the game now that we have the ability to score points.
