It’s a close call between Fuente and UCF’s Scott Frost, but I’m going with Fuente. It all lines up, provided Florida athletic director Scott Stricklin can lure Fuente away from Tech. Fuente is worth going for it.

I think Fuente is a great coach and would love to have him.

That said, I think it's worth comparing what he did at Memphis to what Norvell is doing there right now. Shockingly Fuente never had a top 10 offense while at Memphis and Norvell currently does (8th in pts/game); 11th yards/game; 10th passing yards/game). Fuente also hasn't won 10 games in a regular season yet, but probably will this year. There are still games to be played so of course anything could change.

To be fair, Fuente's offenses were just outside of the top 10 while at Memphis so his offenses were still very good. I don't mean to deflate the success he had there. I just think Norvell shouldn't be overlooked. Still think Frost should be the top choice though.
