Great article talking about some advances in science that might bring a cure to HIV

If they could only get somewhere with cancer
Saw a show last week that talked about using the polio vaccine to treat brain tumor patients. The chemo treatments were way more successful following treatment with the polio vaccine. Pretty cool stuff. 'takes a killer to kill a killer'

It is using the polio virus...modified with a piece of cold virus.

Very promising for many cancers in addition to brain...still in infancy, though. But will be fast tracked.

There's been a lot of progress with some forms of cancer, especially leukemia. Most recently, DNA tailored chemo looks to be a game changer.

Want something bigger to worry about? Alzheimer's. One in three people will get it.

Yikes.
