He's been so much better than I ever thought he'd be. Glad he's getting paid.

I think that's the most per year that any gator has ever made in pro sports.

Happy for him. He's really worked hard to become the player he is today. Always had the raw talent, but he's got all-star potential now.

I am very happy for Parsons. Billy D is really growing a legacy with our basketball program.

per @onlygators D. Lee will max out at 15.4M in 2015-2016 making him the highest paid Gator though.

Apparently not. Both Lee and Parsons can get off the floor. Good for Chandler...

This is one gator who was an absolute prick when I met him

Does Houston have the room to even consider matching the offer?

He played well with the Rockets, but how well could he open it up with Dallas's more wide open style?

If I'm remembering correctly, many thought he was just an add-on to help with securing Nic Calathes. Not too shabby.

The reason the rockets let him field more offers was to clear cap space for a big name like Bosh. I'd say it worked out great for Parsons.

Parsons always had the mind and skill for the game. I never saw it translating due to physical attributes. Both he and Lee made drastic physical improvements in just their first summer after UF, which makes me wonder what our S&C coach is doing. Parsons was an UnderArmour AA and was never a throw in player to me. He always did look like a bit of a project because of his lack of strength.

All that said, he proved most of us wrong. Glad to see a Gator doing well, and I hope the offer sheet sticks and he's Dallas bound. I don't see Howard ever leading a team to a title, but Cuban has a willingness to put a team together to win it all.

To take Bosh over Parsons is absolutely stupid.

With James going to Cleveland that makes Bosh a virtual lock for the Rockets. How does that affect Parsons? Does Houston have enought cap to get CP back?
