It was more like from about 12-18 but it was heady stuff...........big fish in a very small pond. You want I should lie about the good old days,........you realize the further back the good old days get the gooder they were............:raysgirl:

Yankee transplant whose family moved to Miami
Played lineman for Miami High Stingrarees
Played football for coach Wally Butts at Georgia 1840 - 1942
Played for Georgia in the Rose Bowl Game against UCLA 1942

alright Law, what's the verdict. Great gator or dwag scum?

He wanted the UF job badly after Graves and ALL the players wanted him. Even had some protest actions with Carlos Alvarez involved (no suprise as the Cuban Comet became a very big lawyer in Tallacrappy i believe ) In retrospect Gene may have done well. Doug started behind the 8ball and never seemed to escape it. Nice man though.
