When I was younger I would insist on going outside on Christmas day in shorts no matter the weather. Too old now to do that.

Was on leave in Pcola from Wurtsmith AFB, MI Christmas of 1977. Got up to a frigid 65 degree morning. Checked the weather for Oscoda MI where the high was going to be 15 or so. So right after family breakfast, went to the beach and jumped in and out of the water (it was too cold for a southern boy), took a picture and went home. Called one of my buds on alert and told him I had been swimming in the Gulf on Christmas Day and had pictures to prove it. Just to make sure they knew Christmas isn't about the cold.
