Man, what a nasty looking injury. I don't care if he's a dawg, I never like to see these types of injuries.

This is exactly how I feel. When all the BS is stripped away, those are young men with an entire life in front of them. It sickens me to see someone endure such a serious physical injury.

Wonder if he had any injury insurance like some college stars do.

Ed Chester is the only player that has ever been able to collect on that insurance. Marqise Lee is suing to collect. An Oregon corner is trying to collect as well. But Chester is the only guy so far.

And I thought the injury of Driskel was dirty the way the D Lineman had him dead to rights, but slid down his back onto the back of his knee intentionally.

It was a damn WWF move. He pulled his feet intentionally and planted his azz with all his weight on Driskel's knee. Of course, getting Driskel out of the game increased our chances of winning, but it was a move only an Inbred or a Dockett could be proud of.

As for the insurance, I think they are only eligible for that once they are eligible to leave for the NFL and return. Maybe it requires that they also get a "likely to be drafted" notice from the NFL also. I'm not sure, but it's limited. It's not like every kid gets it. Maybe they should.

Dawg D is gassed. They've been on the field a lot today. Vols come from down 24-3 to up 31-24.
