Basically you're right.Our doctors and then 2 specialists told him he was done.In may he got a medical exception from the sec, but I guess he still wants to try and play.Goldkamp over on 24/7 said he wasn't sure if he'd be allowed to.

Dang, the two supposed top tier TE's are now both gone. And yet Burton.....

This goes to show you that recruiting is a game in itself. We got the top two TE in the country and they left UF with two total catches after three years. Hopefully McGee stays healthy and can teach our three freshman TEs how to be great.

No reputable program would even let him try to play again. And I questions the kids judgment...it is now about being able to walk for the rest of your life. Still, best of luck to him...

I'm thinking they didn't work out because they didn't want to do things the Pease way. Blocking on 90% of the plays. Now that Roper is here, our TEs should see more use as receivers. We hope...
