Here's a pretty good cover, i like it much better than the original (by Scott MacKensie -Jacksonville native). This is Lukas Nelson and his band Promise of the Real which is now Neil Young's traveling band. Neil Young provides some vocals on this. Lukas Nelson is Willie's son.

Better known by Andy Williams, Moon River was composed by Henry Mancini and first sung by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's
this is worth watching just because Hepburn is so damned good looking

Here is a really good cover by Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton

This one is definitely NSFW, but I think it's far better than the original.

You would like Richard Cheese and Lounge against the Machine.

He covers all kind of songs, rock, rap, alternative, in classic lounge singer style. Imagine Sinatra singing NIrvana's "Rape Me", Guns n Roses' "Welcome to the Jungle", Sir Mixalot's "Baby got Back", Nine Inch Nails' "Closer", Metallica's "Enter Sandman", Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody", etc.

Salt N Pepa had a smash hist with What A Man. But, (this is great) it was first done by Linda Lyndell a Gainesville native!

She got some soul!

I'm a rollin' stone all alone and lost
For a life of sin I have paid the cost
When I pass by all the people say
Just another guy on the lost highway

This was Hank's signature song written and originally recorded by Leon Payne. It has been covered by many, here are some.

An impromptu with Robert Zimmerman and Joan Baez

Billy Bob

did a pretty good one. The coda is the best part of this version.

Killer's got the perfect voice for this song. He is a tremendous piano player but I think his honky tonk piano style ruins this cut for me.

Then there's Gainesville's own
