DOJ Backs Christian Funeral Home Sued for Firing Trans Employee Who Refused to Wear Male Clothing
I'd be more concerned that it might be poking the clientele.
Same Christians just a different hue.
Same liberals continue to spew
How dare a private company have the right to make it's own policy.
Seriously? Employers can't demand it's employees NOT dress in drag?
One thing absolutely have to applaud the Trump Administration for its consistent and logical approach to this issue; and religious freedom in general. The mental gymnastics it takes to say that Title IX applies to gender identity is wholly inconsistent with how the law was drafted, written, and applied. In typical "progressive" fashion, Democrats and activist judges want to change the plain language of the law to suit their agenda.
It is idiotic comments like these why there is so much hate and divisiveness.
Actually you're an idiot for promoting this kind of weird notion that people like this are normal and that it's perfectly acceptable behavior. For some reason this really triggers you. You gave a dislike 20 minutes ago, went off and sulked and then came back to further address it. Is it something personal?
I think it's a perfectly normal question to ask if a fruitcake is playing with the stiffs.....In fact I bet that's really what happened and the nice Christian owners are just trying to get rid of it instead of ruining it's life by telling the truth.....
Yes it is personal.....I am a human being and I believe in treating all human's equally and with dignity. (FYI, it is called doing work...and glad to know you are stalking me and my time stamps...is it personal that you do that?)
So a trans' preferences are equal to a business owners rights. There ya have it.
No, if they are not conforming to the dress code and the employee policy manual that was given by HR at the time of being hired, that is why they are being fired. Not for being trans. I worked at Disney for 20 years and we had very strict appearance guidelines. Heck, when I started women were not allowed to be Jungle Cruise skippers!!! WDW was allowed to get away because women did not drive river boats during the time period of the Jungle Cruise. IF this employee or any other employee is not adhering to the dress code, then they should be fired. As a straight male, if I went to work at a funeral home in shorts and a tee shirt with flip flops, I am sure I would be warned and if I did not adhere, I would be fired, regardless of my orientation. But why do some of you (not all) have to be so juvenile and act like you are 12 and call people names?
Why do you think men that think they are women is normal behavior?
What if somebody thought they were a monkey wrench? You know a normal person might think the funeral home was concerned about this person's stability and mental health and for the others that have to work with them.
Because it gets your panties in a wad.
I try to not put people in boxes of normal, abnormal or abbey normal. I believe in acceptance and individuality. I do not have hate for those who are different from me by calling them derogatory names....and I find it ironic that many (not all) that identify themselves as Christians on here....and yet, the name calling and marginalizing is not very Christian like. If your faith says you do not accept their lifesytle and you believe that (I will not question your faith, that is personal to you), why do you feel the need to name call, like fudge packer?
