The point is that fake news still has an effect. An ABC executive could have shorted the market prior to issuing the fake news report and taken some quick profits.

The spin on this is massive, living in an alternative reality many (even fox) are assuming that there is something damaging here. Sure by logic the special prosecutor seems to be giving him a great deal so he must be getting something great (for him). That assumes all the rumors of bad (illegal) things are all true. I wonder how stupid people are to lie to the FBI, just don't talk to them or say you don't remember the specifics of one conversation. At least not to the accuracy required to testify.

I hope that nobody talks to them much at all, don't remember things were in chaos.

Chief I agree with what you're saying but remember that Mueller's job here is to stretch this SC out the entire next 3 years....that has been his goal since the beginning. My feeling is that if allowed he will continue to "tease" the media and Left by going through the transition team one by one while making some charges about something related or not stick through intimidation in order to justify the Councils existence....The goal is primarily to keep Trump from getting re elected....If the transition team were surveilled, which we know they were, and there was anything there those people including Trump would already be charged.

That is why the law that allows them needs to be updated, they get a budget and a time frame, if they need more they come back and justify their need. And it needs to be limited to the actual issue, if you find other stuff it goes to the regular channels.

Agreed but in the short term Sessions needs to push the next SC to get started(Uranium 1/Russian involvement ) since Mueller is very likely to be indicted due to the House Committee's findings from an ex FBI informant it would certainly be cause for his removal.....

They should be sued by people hurt in the market as a result of their fraud.

I wondered if they did any buying or selling that they could be charged with insider trading. And if you did not panic, nothing much happened, I was tempted to buy some stocks that dropped, but I really invest not trade.

Wouldn't be insider trading but could be some charges for market manipulation.

yeah the Dow Jones fell $40.76 on Friday 2 $24,231.59. when President Obama left office the Dow Jones was in the upper $18,000s if I recall correctly. Why did such a massive change happen in just a few months? :scratches head: ;)

And we see the price for a multiple abuser of the truth, four weeks unpaid vacation. NYT admits that the incoming administration was exploring ways to improve relations with Russia. Something the president had promised to explore, and it happened during the transition, totally legal. The original was totally "Fake News"
