You can create a facebook account in less time than it took to post twice about not having a facebook.

 

Actually had one when my kids were home like 10 years ago. Before it was commercial trash that 90% of user stalk pics on. Nothing against anyone who uses FB. Just not into it and my family and friends have my cell .

Facebook is a great way to keep up with people that you have grown apart from through life. I know that sounds weird, but it's nice to look and see an old professor of mine's move to teaching in Alaska and the cool pics from the road trip from Florida. Or seeing old co-workers get married who thought they'd never find someone. Point is, Facebook like any other tool, is all about how you use it.

 

I’ve grown apart from folks because I chose not to keep in touch. Why would I want to look at what they had for lunch when I I haven’t spoken to them in twenty years?

 

You have some weird people then. I mean, I've starting blocking posts (but remaining friends) from a lot of the SJW's, but there are legitimate things I use it for. Granted, I think I'm younger than a number of people here, maybe not, so that may have be why I feel that way.
