Are we reviewing TV series in this thread?

Recently watch the first season of Ozark. Absolutely outstanding. Must watch. Kinda like Breaking Bad but centered around money laundering rather than meth.

Bosch. LA homicide detective series. Very good as well. Has quite a few of the same actors as The Wire.

Watching Ray Donovan now. Not as good at the above two series but still fun to watch. Lots of F bombs, maybe the most of all time. Sort of a cross between Sopranos and Get Shorty. Hollywood muscle with family issues running around town constantly dealing with crazy drama.

    All three have boobs.

I'll have to check out Ozark... Netflix?
I've seen a couple episodes of Ray Donovan... Liev Schreiber is a damn good actor.

Yes, Netflix for Ozark. Haven't talked to anybody who didn't like this show.

just watched Moana with my 2 daughters. The chicken was a stupid add on that made no sense. I thought it was better than Frozen which I didn't like at all. I thought this was Disney's best since the Lion King/Aladdin/Beauty and the Beast era.

Frozen is etched in my brain. When my son was 2 that was all he wanted. I think watching these with him rather than a little girl can affect me on them. He loved tangled as well for the horse. He's drawn more toward the Pixar ones now that he's older.

:sadnanner: I liked 'Drumstick'. But good movie, I agree.
Thankfully my son was never interested in Frozen - too girly a theme I guess. I've been spared.

Logan Lucky. A few down on their luck rednecks attempt to pull off the perfect heist by robbing the Coca-Cola 600. Every poster on this board should see it, it'll make you stand up and cheer your kind like never before. No boobs, but there IS a Mustang.

Hilarious movie though, Daniel Craig was perfect (despite being a filthy foreigner).

Agreed. All you get is the gratuitous 1940s thigh high shot.

    Gifted

Frank (Chris Evans) plays a single guy living in a small town outside of Tampa. He appears to be a single father at first, but about 20 minutes
in the movie you learn the seven year old girl he takes care of is actually his niece. His sister committed suicide a few months after her daughter was born, and Frank has raised her since. He homeschools young Mary until it's time for 1st grade. Young Mary is a genius and becomes exasperated when her teacher asks her basic questions like 2 plus 2, and other basic math problems. A custody battle ensues throughout most of the movie between Frank and his mother, and you learn certain things about each character that blends the movie together at the end and why Evans character insists on having the child live a regular life. It is a good role for him, as I haven't really seen him do much outside of Captain America. He's impressive in this one, as is young Mary. Good flick that pulls at the heart strings. 3/4 stars.

    Skull Island (2017):
I didn't know what to expect, I know they were using this to tie into the world set up by the Godzilla remake which I wasn't a huge fan of. The cast was fairly strong. At the end of Vietnam satellites pick up an island that has never been mapped before. Monarch a company that looks for government funding to find monsters, gets permission to go with a military escort. After getting through a wall of storm (which is why it was never mapped) you get to a tropical paradise with larger than life creatures that haven't existed since before man. Kong is awaked along with other creatures, and $hit goes down. I expected this to be as boring as Godzilla, but my wife, daughter and my attention was held through the entire movie. I give it at 7/10.

JimBob: No boobs were harmed or seen in this movie.

The Belko Experiment - so a bunch of Americans work for this company in Columbia (along with some locals). The building goes on lockdown and they are told they have to start killing x number of people at different time frames. If they don't their heads explode. Some get into it and some are trying to survive, but it doesn't stop until 1 is left. Has a few gory scenes, but not like a saw movie. Most the actors you've scene in many things and my favorite was John c mcginley who embraces his evil role and enjoys all the carnage. I expected more out of the end and sets up a sequel. It's an ok thriller/horror movie but not the best. 6/10

We thought about renting that the other day but didn't. Remember the previews and looked like it had some potential. Maybe if we're really desperate.

Jackie - Natalie Portman portrays Jackie Kennedy. It's about her account of thing around the assassination. This movie was horribly boring and felt Portman struggled to act. Not a good movie is all I can say. 4/10

Alien Covenant (2017): A movie I expected to be worse due to reviews, but ended up being decent. The usual troupe happens in this types of SciFi movies, a colonization ship gets hit by something that stalls their course, after cleaning up the damage they get a distress call which points to a planet they didn't find in all of their research. They decide to explore, which like all of these movies is the beginning of the end. It had some cool scenes and was a good bridge movie between Promethus and Alien. I give it a 6.5/10.

JimBob: Some boobs were shown about 75% of the way in, decent, but those boobs were also harmed. :(

Waiting for IT. Supposed to be the best adaptation of a King novel to date.
