I was not a big Melania fan, not moving to the White House, not doing any public charity work or taking on a cause, but now I just feel sorry for her. Not surprised she cancelled Davos with news of the shell company for a porn star payoff. Will we see the first presidential divorce?

The economy is amazing, illegal immigration is down, we might get immigration legislation, the stock market is soaring, corporations like Apple are not only bringing their money back they a vowing to train programmers to keep the US competitive (we will see if our lazy kids take the bait). All good. Yet I find it hard to take joy knowing how truly disgusting the President is as a human being. I am not sure if I am more angry with him or the evangelicals who give him "a mulligan" instead of calling out his immorality. Can't you say I like his policies but I condemn his atrocious behavior?

A real woman would support her man through any number of flings.

He was a nasty philanderer too. I wish for once they would not stand by their man, but humiliate them and call a spade a spade and leave. Of course, I am sure he has an iron clad pre-nup so that probably won't happen.

Makes you wonder what he knows about her. Everyone seems to assume he’s the only one with issues - I have a hard time believing she’s some sort of damsel in distress just hanging around for money (her family is rich)...

Has he used the tunnel yet? Or maybe this porn star can show up and sing Happy Birthday to him. According to CNN he should bring her in to watch, it might be healthy.

Not that I'm even remotely interested in defending him, but this isn't exactly fact-based reporting. The WaPo is the primary "source", hardly an outfit that is even partially fair, and will tell you that it isn't. So, here's the "facts" as they tell it....

          You serious Clarke?

Not trying to derail your thread but the He's not my president crowd seems to prefer the scattergun attack approach. The next basket of grenades will be tossed by Hollywood morality elitists Monday night, the night before the State of the Union address.
A group of Hollywood elites, progressive groups and social activists are planning a “People’s State of the Union” as a “public alternative” on the eve of President Donald Trump’s first State of the Union address. And they are rolling out the big guns. I cannot wait to hear that new rap jingle Stand up for Something.

          http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2018/01/28/anti-trump-celebs-plan-peoples-state-union.html

Notable participants in Monday's scheduled event in New York City include filmmaker Michael Moore, actors Mark Ruffalo, Alyssa Milano, Rosie Perez and Whoopi Goldberg.

They'll congregate at the Town Hall in Manhattan, the venue where suffragists met in the 1920s. Singer Andra Day and rapper Common will be performing the song, “Stand Up for Something,” from the biopic film "Marshall," about the late Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.

Tickets were still available Saturday at $47 each.

The event, coordinated by unions, organizers of the Women’s March and Planned Parenthood, is being marketed as a celebration of the “resistance,” closer to “the people’s point of view,” USA Today reported.
Ruffalo, an inveterate progressive and vocal critic of President Trump, told People magazine, “I think it’s important because we have a president who has a difficult time with the truth, who has a radical, divisive agenda, and spends an enormous amount of time focusing on the negative and hopelessness and despair.”

Monday’s event also will serve as a platform for the launch of "We Stand United," the lead organizing group of the "People’s State of the Union."

The group’s campaign director, Julia Walsh, said, “We’re all going to work together across all different movements to make sure that we win back Congress in 2018 and hold this president in check.”

“It’s the mother of all movements,” Ruffalo said.

The event will be livestreamed online at peoplessotu.org.

Should be a titillating event. They should invite Slick to speak for the Clinton Foundation.

This is a mater between Trump and Melania... does it really matter to the rest of us. Its a matter of their marriage, that's it. Whether or not it's true none of us know, even though I'm sure we have some people who will claim truth one way or another regardless of what is known on both sides.
