Downtown Clearwater could be so incredibly cool if not for the takeover years ago by Scientologists. The church, exempt from taxation, now owns most of the valuable property along Fort Harrison and keeps gobbling up more. God knows what goes on behind those locked doors. And you know it by all the sheeple walking around in Navy trousers and white button down shirts. It's like being in the Twilight Zone.
