Gator website has a poll for best play of the year up right now. Which do you think should be the winner?

That goal line stand @ LSU changed the whole complexion of the game and gave the team the confidence they needed to pull out the W, and arguably the rest of the season. Had LSU scored there the end of the season could have looked a whole lot different (more L's)

plus - it was a great way to stick it to the 3 headed douche bags of Alleva, O, & 4-nette - and all the other corn dog eaters, including perry

Although that ham sammich is tempting (you a lucky man squatch), the LSU goal line stand was the play of the year.

Tough call in my mind. The goalline stand was epic but the win doesn't happen without this third-quarter magic. Second longest TD pass in Florida history. That's big.

Being that the game ended on the 4th and goal I'd have to agree with this deep assessment

That list of great plays helps me celebrate some things that actually DID go well this year! Thanks!

My vote? ...the goal-line stand verses LSU - it was a team play, less individual focus in a do or don't situation.

Goal line stand.

Got to give it for a defensive play. Defense carried us all year.

Never thought I would see a more important goal line stand than the one against UGA in 1984 or Boomer Sooner in the title game, but the one this year eclipsed them both.

Although, I confidently voted for the ham sammich. SQ no doubt makes a good one.

"Changed the complexion of the game"?

How so? It was the last play of the game so it didn't change the complexion, it determined the outcome.

We actually had two earlier goal line stands (fumble caused by Brantley and a botched snap/fake), so maybe trux was thinking of one of those. :dunno:

How is a goal line stand a play?
