I think somebody takes a flyer on MF in the second round if he blows it up in workouts. He can't create his own shot. But he'll end up being a scoring machine in the NBA if he can stay healthy and they have somebody who can feed him the ball. He'll need to work off screens tirelessly (like Reggie Miller).

I agree. The NBA does love specialists. If he's got the work ethic he can make it in the NBA.

Sticking to the thread headline only, I thank Frazier for his time and effort at UF. However in regards to his NBA and/or pro basketball potential, I hope he will enjoy living and playing basketball overseas.

Well that was unexpected. Really need Doe Doe back now.
I think dodo is gone too. He already has his degree and his stock can't get any higher. I've read that he's likely to go too.

DFS will get drafted easily. High 2nd round, maybe even first round.

I think Frazier will be able able to make a good living over seas at the very least. But one thing some of you guys don't understand is when teams are drafting in the second round, they're looking for specialists to help out their team. Frazier is a true floor spacer and I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually ended up on somebody's roster. There are plenty of guys who have made a living in the nba being strictly a sharp shooter.

Frazier would fit in perfectly with the Spurs or the Hawks.

Exactly, he might find the perfect situation. Look at that green kid that starts for the spurs not much difference than him and Michael Frazier

Anybody leaving this year's team hurts next year.

Even Kurtz?

Yes of course it will. I would like him to come back and be an form of coach if he would do so. Being he is an engineer I bet he is going to work.

Wait, if DFS, MFIII, and Walker get drafted, this will be remembered as the most under achieving team in a while. Three pros on a team with a losing record? DFS may get drafted but teams will take chance on other two in supplemental draft.

Frazier is a classic case of many UF guards in the Donovan Era. He simply didn't develop. Whether it was lack of work ethic, lack of tutelage, or lack of Donovan's confidence in Frazier, he simply didn't develop. This is the first year that Frazier was asked to create his own shot, so there is really no evidence that he can't create some ability there. There are rumors that Frazier and Donovan didn't get along, and I tend to believe them. Donovan has a history of slow playing freshmen, and that can linger in some players as their careers progress. In Frazier's case, I think they way he has been handled has probably affected his confidence. Not saying that Frazier shouldn't toughen up, just think the personalities probably didn't mesh well...especially this year. I hope that Frazier finishes his degree (if he isn't graduating early). If he doesn't make it in the NBA, there are worse things than making several hundreds of thousands of dollars while living in Europe.

Walker should have been a defensive nightmare. Regardless of offense, he had every ability to be a Ben Wallace type player. Every year he stays his potential turns to lack of ability, much like Young. Good luck to him. His athletic ability will shine somewhere, if he leaves.

I agree that Dodo will get drafted higher than the other two, but I really don't know why he should. He's a big guy with very mediocre guard skills, and no real post game. He just never seems to really love playing the game.

You sure Walker leaves. I wouldn't be surprised if he stays after dropping in the NBA's eyes this season.

Any chance Frazier could get drafted by an NBA team?
Walker has been almost a complete dud. I can see both of these guys playing in China, Turkey, Spain......

Maybe Kurtz can teach our other players how to rebound.

Well I guess we are set for another ****ty year next season thanks to Billy. No one player on our team can hit more than 20% from 3 unless Francis, Stone, Allen are amazing shooters (not likely) or DFS (doubt he comes back) stays.
