They are just trying to create any kind of positive buzz. Epic fail with the 116th offense.

The first comment was gold, something along the lines of "We were among the last ranked offenses, take this sh*t down."

It's really stupid to put this stat up, but once it's up, own it. Don't take it down, that's weak sauce.

Completion percentage and QB rating were both better this year. If you had told me that without showing me the stats, I would have pimp slapped your first born into orbit. Just goes to show how awful Zaunbrecher's offense was for Rex.

Ah, good old 2002, such fond memories as that was the year I came up with and still have my screen name. And I was just thinking of that very thing recently right after Gary Kubiak retired. What does Gary Kubiak have to do with my screen name you might ask? Well as all of us recall, when SOS packed his bags, it was clear that Bob Stoops was the #1 choice. Was not going to happen for a myriad of reasons (mainly he already had a better job), so Fooley's plane and Fooley were spotted in Denver to speak with Mike Shanahan. Well call me naive at the time (turned out it was pure stupidity on my part), but I actually thought that maybe, just maybe, Fooley was throwing a smoke screen up and was actually there to speak to Shanahan regarding Gary Kubiak, as Kubiak was OC on those championship Broncos teams (it was Shanahan's offense though) and was a highly regarded asst. coach in the NFL. I went so far as to email someone who covered the Gators (at the time) and still does, and his response was that my theory was very interesting and he liked it. Well turns out Fooley showed us all that he was a complete buffoon talking to a guy who was the highest paid coach in the NFL and a 2 time super bowl winning HC to see if he might like to come back a few steps to coach in college. So for a fleeting second I actually thought maybe we had an AD who actually had a clue and was being cunning and intelligent. Turns out he was just showing us his total ineptitude concerning our football program. Sadly, it took more than a decade later for us to be rid of this plague and we still have not sent the guys with Hazmat suits into the facility to cleanse the place Fooley's stench!!!!!

I'm not convinced he is gone.

Nothing has changed. The vacant asst coach position says it all.

Law, you mean we actually have assistant coaches? Well if that is the case why in the HE!! have not at least 3 of them been canned for being incompetent and not worthy of being an assistant coach on a Pop Warner team?

The stats surprised me too.
Compare to 2001:
PASSING GP/GS Effic Att-Cmp-Int Pct Yds TD Lng Avg/G
Rex Grossman 11/11 170.75 395-259-12 65.6 3896 34 80 354.2

Nuss going for the record of 4 straight 100+ offenses.

All the advertising of season tickets also suggests ticket sales are slow. I expect some two for one or three for one sales soon.
