Personally, I really don't care about the rankings until about November but it's nice that the players and coaches are getting recognized for all of their efforts. I'm sure the players are jacked up about it after the last few years.

So far our resume is 1 cupcake blowout, 1 cupcake way too close, 2 close wins over SEC bottom dwellers, and a blowout of #3. The next game IMO will really tell us if this team is more like the one that played the first 4 games, or is rounding into the team that we saw this past Saturday. There is no doubt in my mind this team is heading in the right direction and heading there quickly. Are we a top ten team, I dunno but it sure is fun to watch again. I for one am just glad to see a decent scheme that includes the forward pass. So many teams have gone to the Tebow/Manziel/Newton scramble-around-until-somebody-gets-open-or-just-take-off-with-it offense that defenses have forgotten how to cover a thought out passing attack.

Just stating fact. it's always better if teams we beat continue to win. Doesn't look great they struggled with ECU but if they'd lost, well, we know how that would look.
