Sorry, but it's Hernandez (at least since I've been following in the early 2000s). Him killing somebody doesn't change how talented he was and the numbers he put up. Sucks that he's a bonafide scumbag and an embarrassment, but he was still a beast on the field.

Who was the dude before Troupe? Big white guy.

Troupe is my favorite. That turn around end zone catch from Grossman to beat Georgia is still one of my favorite plays of all time

Erron Kinney was pretty good his last year before Troupe arrived and was a 3rd round draft pick. He was black though. Did the guy you are talking about catch many passes?

The only white guy I remember was Chris Doering. He was a fairly big receiver at 6'4"

Kirk Wells? Far from elite. Nice receiver. More of a hybrid guy long before it became popular.

Didnt he transfer?

As best I can recollect, Kinney was the guy before Troupe.

He might be talking about Aaron Walker who had a real good season before he left and was there when Troupe arrived.
