I hope you are too. I consider myself fortunate to have gotten a hand me down set of them.

First day update:
Course 1 of 3 was the Classic Club.
Hot as hell but a good time - felt great to play again after about 10 years.
Lots of bunkers and water - shot a 113 so hopefully I can shoot under the temperature tomorrow where it will be about 101.
Tomorrow is Indian Wells and Saturday is the Dinah Shore.

Couple of pix:

Bad ass Diddy. Palm Springs is a blast. Hope you have early tee times.

Didn't know you were a Fed. Wonder if any of the stories in the worst thing I ever did thread can still be prosecuted...

Not an official Fed Del - so you're safe. we just provide software for their various finger/palm print and database programs.

So overall - a great trip. - Thanks for all the advice/comments.

I would highly recommend Palm Springs for a golf vacation (but before May - it was pretty hot)

And I would stay away from the Indian Wells course for two reasons:
1. Old dudes kind of club that reeks of "Back in my day Joey Bishop would kill in the Catskills!" ... "No way... Don Rickles was the king of the Catskills!"
2. A big honkin' spear stuck into the ground near the putting range that reminded me way too much of the clown college

Dinah Shore/Mission Hills was a good course and The Classic Club was fantastic.

I shot a 113 (Classic Club), 115 (Indian Wells) and a 100 (Dinah Shore) - don't have a handicap yet so I guess I have to fill in some info to get one.

Now on to buying a set.

I was more worried about these other scoundrels and the things they've done. I am a veritable angel comparatively speaking.
