Well color me a little unimpressed that he couldn't sack up like Bullard who did what it took to grow to 295 and play anywhere ask on the LOS....Nothing against CeCe but we could always just blitz a LB like Bama and FSU do because they have 3 big ass maulers on the LOS and not risk bleeding to death 7 and 8 yards at a time......

Bullard played at 283 his senior year.....and 270 his junior year.

I actually meant to say Polite. Zuniga is listed at 246, which is even worse! Hopefully his weight is off as well (as is that whole "updated" roster).

Other than Bosa, those all one trick pass rush ponys. Bammer had about 12, but I see they are down to like 8 or 10 this year. Jawja, Ugly and Barn. Everyone else playing a Saban defense (except us).

CeCe is a pass rusher, HE WAS NEVER GOING to be Bullard. He was never going to be a run stopper. Just because he was 250 while the rest of our Itty Bitty DEs were 220-240 doesn't make him a tackle or a run stopper.

I've never seen Jefferson play from an upright position like Fowler/Clowney/ RoPo or who ever is the pass rush specialist of the month....If your hand is in the dirt you are a LOS player...call them what you want . Even a 250# 4-3 DE is going to be abused just like Trattou/Lemons and even Fowler(265#) was whenever the big boys come to town.....and in his 3rd year yet.......

It's inevitable.

Most of the time these weights are list at camp and guys usually play 10-15 lbs heavier....believe me Bullard played at 300 if not a few over his last year .

Well at this point, we play with who we have... so much can be "fixed" if we can find a guy to complete backpedaling/chasing DB type passes come on one of you QBs, grow a pair and take the damn reigns.

He wasn't IMO. I think he was more like 260. He just looked bigger beside our flock of 220 lb "defensive linemen".

Cece will be fine at 6'1" and 252. He is more of the Dwight Freeney, Elvis Dumerville type guy. I would like to see him get to about 260 but if he's solid and his motor keeps running he'll be good.
