We had a pet tarantula in college that we would feed white mice. He would inject poison into the mouse that would liquify its insides and then he would suck out the juice. What was left was an empty fur ball.

I had a friend who was a zoology major for his bachelor's, in preparation for going to veterinary school. He had an apartment full of cages of spiders, monkeys and bugs.

His biggest pet was a lizard, which was kept in a cage that was about three feet by five feet and about three feet high. It was big -maybe four feet long. And it got hungry often.

You know how people give away kittens for free outside of the supermarket? Ahem. That's about all I'm going to tell you.

Agree to that! One of my roommates witnessed a feeding. I chose not too.

A frat brother was a zoo major. I was over his house one day and witnessed him feeding a mouse to a snake. So he puts the mouse in the glass cage and the coiled snake immediately becomes alert. The mouse, shaking uncontrollably, starts kicking sand and pebbles in the snake's face. The snake retreats as far as it can. Time goes by so my frat brother gives the bad ass mouse a reprieve and removes him from the cage. At least for that feeding the mouse backtracked on the circle of life.

We had a skink in our old river house... Kept the roaches out of it.

I had never seen a roach fly until the first day I moved into the dorm @ the U. I saw one on the wall and hit it with a broom, but it came flying at me and I flew outside. I called housing and reported I had flying roaches, etc. Basically they told me they only sprayed a couple of times a year and that I should go get some bug bombs. I went to Stevens grocery on Red Rd. and bought a doz and bombed it to the point that I had to go to a motel for the night. I then routinely bombed about once a month and thankfully never saw another one. Also, when you smash them, they emit a sickening sweet odor. UGH! Nasty, nasty, nasty.

Yeah, you are thinking of the Palmetto Bug, which is another name for the American Cockroach.

Palmetto bugs are reddish-brown cockroaches that are usually about 1.5 inches long. They are the biggest of the cockroaches that frequently invade people’s homes. Although these cockroaches have wings, they are not very good at flying but will glide from one surface to another. People often think they are being attacked by palmetto bugs when they open doors because they tend to “fly” inside toward the light. Although they may seem scary, palmetto bugs do not pose an immediate danger. They rarely ever bite people. Palmetto bug bites are not serious or painful, but may leave a small, red mark. These pests can contaminate your food with bacteria such as salmonella because of their tendency to hide in unsanitary areas. They can also trigger allergies and asthma.

My high school senior class trip was to the Bahamas.
While over there, we were walking to the casino from an area with shops and stuff like that. On the way one of my friends sees this roach running across the sidewalk (next to the building). Dude jumps on it, like those high jump stomp kind of things, then spun around on it for good measure and just because he was being stupid, he then takes a step away, and sure as **** that roach goes running off in the same direction it was heading in the first place.
We decided it deserved to live and went on about our business

I just bought a Bug-a-salt gun. You load it with salt, cock it, and blast bugs with it. Good times. Way more fun than a fly swatter.
