Normally yes, but he could be making a ton more at bama than a position coach at Florida for all we know.Currently an offensive analyst at Alabama (who isn't these days lol)
So a position coaching job would be a step up.
This is my feeling. If he's this great it's really odd that he's basically doing nothing. Regardless, if he is really great you have to think he'll be in demand. Just sounds strange to me honestly. He would be a massive Improvement and was one of the best Recruiters on a staff of good recruiters. He would also give us an offensive coordinator in place when we fire Nusschamp.
That being said I half expect him to be Alabama's next offensive coordinator.
Doubt it. Either way, could be a good get, which means it won't happenNormally yes, but he could be making a ton more at bama than a position coach at Florida for all we know.

It's a matter of timing. This is my feeling. If he's this great it's really odd that he's basically doing nothing. Regardless, if he is really great you have to think he'll be in demand. Just sounds strange to me honestly.

He got a shot as HC and was turrible at New Mexico or something, then went to Maryland and was part of a staff that got canned and was again an interim HC, and again turrible. so he fell down the ladder and landed at Bama as an analyst.
He's ripe for the picking as a position coach or co-oc
This is exactly what I was thinking.Yes, yes, please yes. This would be an amazing get. Hadn't thought about moving Skipper to LB coach, but this would be almost too good to be true.
Totally on board with this. Why the heck is Skipper coaching RBs again?
