I'm really curious to see the updated roster. Ole Miss just put out their 2018 media guide w/ an updated roster and line-up. Anyone know when our media guide is coming out? The current roster still has last year's weights for the returning players (The first weight I see that I know it hasn't been updated is Marco Wilson, still listed at 177).

Emory Jones posting a pic of his workouts, curious if he's over 200lbs:

He is well over 200 in those pics I'd guess.

It's the skinny calves that is throwing you off maybe.

In another thread, donk said none of our guys going to media days could’ve made the team in 08. I don’t agree. Ivey and Jefferson would’ve and might’ve been starters if they had been developed like those guys. Reese is questionable but my guess is he would’ve been a pretty good sp vial teams player.

I hope he can gain about 30 lbs more by the 2019 season.

You think Creyer would tolerate Ivie's windmilling? I dont.

CeCe is tougher, I agree. But Creyer demanded ends that set the edge on defense. The pass rush only types sat on the bench til third and long.

I do agree that Creyer probably would have developed them more, but that is still conjecture. As they are today, none would play.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. The SEC Media Days have become really boring since Spurrier left. Saban will get up there and act like a prick as usual, and the rest of the dudes will try their best to string two words together.

Play or start? Both would make the rotation/two deep as is today. I don’t think either starts but Cece might make a push. Add in development for both and they each would have a shot at starting as they possess the measureables most teams desire (fully agree that it’s conjecture but I think it’s a pretty safe bet compared to the “coaching” they received from Butters).

Dan Mullen notebook from SEC Media Days

                      https://www.gatorcountry.com/feature/dan-mullen-notebook-from-sec-media-days/

                      • Mullen says he didn’t have to recruit Martez Ivey and CeCe Jefferson much to come back to school but that he made sure to tell them he wanted them back. Mullen said that they needed to be all in on whatever decision they made.
                      • The players have had minimal resistance when buying into the program and discipline. That’s one of things that Mullen pointed to when talking about the culture change.
