I am taking Mubtaahij for the win. Started 20-1 and is down to about 12-1. He is the only one I think might win that still has a pretty good payout.

Carle Diem is from our company's facilities, Stonestreet Stables. Owned by my boss Barbara Banke. The family has won the Preakness twice with Curlin and Rachel Alexandra (back to back horses of the year), but never the derby. At 8-1, could be a nice return. Fingers crossed!

Well, that sucked. I took 3 horses and they finished 8, 9, and 10.

Are we done pretending that anyone anywhere cares about horseracing? Great.

American Pharoah is the first mis-spelled named horse to win the Derby!

Also, while the top 3 were all from California, two horse were from the Ocala area!

Ocho, ocho, ocho and I guess Carpe Diem from above?

Overall, it was a good race and the cream rose to the top w/no upsets.

Unlike that "boxing" match Saturday night.

Interesting facts Jand3k, I agree it was a good race. My wife had two of her three in the top three. I had just one of my three.

Nice mini straight, but that is not the trifecta you're looking for.
