Maybe Cal should duplicate this program with his revolving door basketball program.

The inscription could include Cal's name and something like "For underachievement once again this year!" and "Coach and player cash out AND get a ring."

If they had a reasonable number of bowl games, I would not have a problem with the rings. However, since teams with losing records go to bowl games nowadays, it does not mean anything.
