What's the big deal starting? They have a pretty busy rotation on the line.

This was my exact thought.

What a pussy move by Orr good riddance. Doesn't take a rocket surgeon to figure out why he lost his starting spot.

A rocket surgeon. Curious.

I wouldn't stand for this if I was Orr. I'd transfer and play the last 3 games of next year for someone else
Exactly. He can just take a medical redshirt just because he wants one. His feelings were hurt. I'm sure Concrete is working on the paperwork as we speak.

An announcer said Orr complained to WM about not starting. What a "real" HC says is "Leon, you are part of this team. You'll wait on the bench with teammates in case injury or such makes you needed." That's being a smart CEO.
Something good could happen with Leon there. Nothing but bad goes with casting him out.

This reminds me of hothead Muschamp agreeing with guys who mentioned transferring. (Christian is TE we could use now.)

He cast himself out. No one is above the team.

If the report is correct he chose to go home. He's the one that went to the Greyhound Staion. And "if you leave, you're done." Doesn't sound like WM pushed him to do anything. Orr is responsible for his own actions. He chose "self" above team. And why be pissed about not starting with all the rotation that UF does with its DLine?? Another interesting stat.....Orr has only started two games??? Don't see why he would be bytching about playing time. Real smart move Leon. Even though I dislike WM have to say that was the right call.

I don't agree the the chump about many things but I have to give him kudos here. It's almost impossible to find a 5th year senior that's worth a crap.

I think he just wanted an early start on getting himself ready for the draft.

I've been pretty pleased with Ivey and Brantley on the interior defensive line over this season. Bullard is finally getting the hang of being on the interior also and has had a couple of good games the last couple of weeks.

Good for muschamp he shouldn't have to handle it differently for a 5th year senior. coddling is not called for.

I'm thinking this little hissy fit / pissing contest didn't just start yesterday. It's probably been brewing and festering. For Orr to draw a line in the sand
and make Muschamp flinch...not smart on a subordinate.

Like said above. Orr basically bailed on the team on game day and he surely could have contributed. That's what we call a "character flaw".

Enjoy watching a team that is finding its identity, without you!

I'm not sure that Leon Orr was ever looking at landing an NFL gig but I'm pretty certain he doesn't even get a FA offer now.

Unbelievable, he would have been rotated in and seen playing time. Not what you want on your resume if you have NFL aspirations.
