I like the fact that it looks like he got the ball out early before they could put any pressure on him. The pass to Fulwood was right in stride!

What is this "vertical pass" that they keep referencing? Is that in our playbook?

and a second fan day. Amazing what 4-8 can do for a coaches philosophy.

If Driskel keeps dropping the ball in to the receivers five yards from the sideline he is going to have a hell of a year. That's the biggest thing I have seen. Look at the first ball of the spring game. I believe it was Dunbar he hit in stride but the receivers would always drift out of bounds tracking the ball. He's getting it. He's growing a set and realizing that no db is going to be able to locate, adjust, and out battle our 6'4 Fulwood. Air it out, keep it in play, and watch your numbers go through the roof, Jeff.

Some competent, productive plays in that short clip. Very similar to what I saw over 2.5 practices. There is reason for hope and optimism, although I know just about everyone here is taking a "show me" and wait and see approach.

Another TD by Brandon Powell. I don't think a practice has gone by where he didn't make a big play. Looking forward to his future.

And even on the long TD pass to Fulwood, by my unscientific count, Driskel got rid of the ball in less than three seconds. THAT, is the most encouraging thing I've seen from the passing game coming out of these Fall practices.

Driskel looked good. Wonder if him and fulwood are developing some chemistry

The Gator Nation is so starved even a little scrap like that seems like a feast. They are only, what, 20 something practices into this new offense? Things could get smoother in the next 10 even. If the QBs can execute quickly, even a mediocre OL can function somewhat.
