I remember on the old board there was some T REX wannabe (or maybe it was T REX) goose stepping around saying how much Burton "sucks" even after he was signed by the Eagles. I guess the Eagles must be blind.

Burton sucks. Good kid, but he sucks. More accurately, it sucks that we had no one better (or didn't let them on the field).

Reason: Burton making it is a surprise, but not a huge one. He has caught every pass thrown his way, and has embraced the duties as a tight end. Will Casey go? For now I don't think so, but it shouldn't be counted out.

I guess they think they can bulk him up and make him a TE.

It says Burton made the team as the 4th TE. I'm guessing he's going to be contributing a lot on special teams. It's a hell of an accomplishment just to make an NFL roster.

Happy for Burton. Sad for the other Gators who got cut.
