Should Trump apologize? Will he have a clean conscience if he doesn’t?
Trump has no conscience, clean or otherwise.
It's too bad that his actions over the past few years, pretty much since "the gang of eight" have tarnished what many thought was a fine career.
Very true Frozen. Sad but true.
Just as crooked as the other 99 in the Senate chamber. **** him.
I wish it were sooner, rather than later.
Typo? It should say USA.
We are all dying. I'd say McCain himself should start cleaning his conscience starting with all the voters that elected him thinking he as a republican.
Anyone who cast a ballot for McCain going back to at least the last 2 elections knew exactly what they were voting for.
They did? Anyone huh? Those AZ voters are doing a helluva a job of staying up in the latest. You think Bush knew what his was appointing when he put Roberts on the bench? McCain ran his re-election on appealing obamacare.
My sense is Bush is fine with Roberts' tenure. Have you heard otherwise?
There's what politicians say, and there's their actions. McCain's actions long ago gave the lie to any notion he was a conservative.
Agreed. I think Trump is much more conservative than Bush. I don't think he had a problem with Roberts at all.
And we voted (I am assuming us) voted for Bush and he gave us Roberts and I am willing to bet all three of us are in the upper 90 pct of the avg voter on staying informed on issues. Am I making my point or not?
He was the lesser evil at the time, I would have gladly voted for someone else.
You get a bit of a pass the first time you vote for someone.
"Fool me once..."
After that, it's on you. If you didn't have Bush pegged as a statist and neocon, not sure how I can help you.
Given the choice, knowing what I know about Bush, I'd still vote the same way given the alternative we were presented with.
Same with Trump, who is the most horrific person I've ever had the displeasure of seeing run for President.
His saving grace on that score is he didn't have the capacity to pretend to be anything other than what he was.
Graham cried defending McCain. He's a good man.
I think he should give it up. He will never be McCain's wife.
If it were Billy Graham, I might reconsider.
Problem is he is trying to take America right along with him.
