Anyone think Foley's contacted Bielema yet.....
Well, he did manage 2 SEC wins this year. That's quite an improvement over zero last year.

Yeah, if you look at is as an assistant coach, JM left his job and Bama decided they'd like to actually score points with their next OC.

So they hired Doug Nussmeyer?

Cause for concern

Brady Hoke

4-8
9-4

then hired at Michigan

Jim McElewain

4-8
8-6
10-2

All I am saying is Brady Hoke trended upwards just as McElewain is doing and look how that ended up for Michigan. There is nothing that tells me that Mac wouldn't follow the same path.

Normally if hiring these kind of coaches you go after ones who have real quality P5 wins.

Beating Boston College, Colorado and Washington State are not quality.

Got it! So we should hire a coach who is trending down. Perfect plan.

There's no freaking comparison to Meyer and mclwain. I see nothing simular. The truth is Mclwain is the fat chick you leave with at closing time because everyone else turned you down

Those wins absolutely are. You're playing with inferior talent to all of those schools. Usc went on the road and lost at BC, fsu nearly did as well.

I read a stat on McElwain that he was the first head coach there to win his debut game since 1970, and the first one ever to beat Colorado in his first try.

I have no issue with people not liking a particular candidate or having opinions, but at least bring sound arguments to the table.

Come on Sofla,

Those three teams have a combined record of 12-24......

BC losses include Pittsburgh
Colorado losses include everyone not named UMASS and Hawaii
WSU losses include Rutgers, Nevada, and everyone except Portland State, Utah, Oregon State

Listen I know you think Mac is a good coach and everyone is entitled to their opinions....however, there is no possible way that you really think those wins are quality.
