Most of these players were freshmen and did not contribute. I do wonder if this was even an option, if you are not academically eligible that is not a decision made by the coach but rather an official action of the school. Now if they don't improve they really should be removed after all they should be students, not paid football players.

Yup, that's my guess. Richt said they were suspended for "a lot of little things, but I want things done right". One of those suspended was Michael Irvin II, freshman.

?Each HC has a unique slope to lead his conglomerate of "foolhardies" up.
There could not be a bigger spiritual mismatch than Mark Richt with the University of Miami.
Could it be the alchemy that produces gold from bismuth? The wait is on?
Richt is a top CFB HC. UM could certainly be a solid proving ground.
The equation could be = Miami comes out better : Richt comes out worse?
