Let me know when Mac wins anything that matters as well cause I could care less to win the East if we can't compete in the game when we get there. And you're again taking what I say out of context. I've stated that Miami will be in better shape than us going into the 2018 season. I never said Miami would win anything I'm just stating that their team will be better than ours. I'd love nothing more than to see them lose every game they play but that won't happen.

I'll say to you what everyone loves to say he's playing with someone else's players let him get his own players before judging him as a coach. And yes he lost to those teams but he also barely lost to FSU a team that has wiped the floor with us the last 2 years. And I can also say the same thing about us we beat the Vandy. UK, Mizzu, SC, FAU of the world as well and lost to the Arky of the world. And speaking of FAU didn't it take OT to beat them last year when we played them? They won by 28. I think you just have a problem coming to terms that our program is on the downfall because of Mac and his recruiting abilities and can't fathom that MR can keep his class together for next year. And I'm not saying he does but if he does its going to be a very very good class. Come find me when Mac pulls a class that's very very good cause it won't happen.

I slightly disagree...Muschump started it(some will argue Meyer did) then Mac is just cementing it. He was the wrong hire for the job. We will probably see two more years of 9-4/8-5 before he is jettisoned back out west. It just kinda is at this point. We're treading water more than anything.

I think I'm pretty solid for being known as a Mac dumper not a pumper. So you calling him "my boy" is laughable.

Here's a Stat for you. Mac won his division his first 2 years.

The ACC Coastal division is a joke as a football conference (worse than the SEC east) and Richt, a perennial underachiever lost to teams like VT, and UNC. He feasted on FAMU, Appy St., FAU, PITT, NCST UVA, and ACC football powerhouse Duke.

I slightly disagree...Muschump started it(some will argue Meyer did) then Mac is just cementing it. He was the wrong hire for the job. We will probably see two more years of 9-4/8-5 before he is jettisoned back out west. It just kinda is at this point. We're treading water more than anything.

UF will be down for 4-5 more years if Mac isn't fired this year. He's a mediocre HC who's recruiting is setting the program back each year with each 3* he signs and every elite QB he misses. UF is now UT. almost a decade of futility and counting.

I know we all enjoy making fun of and putting down other teams that we feel are inferior, however, as an respectful FYI Miami did not have a spring game this year The video was a scrimmage in Boca and was open only to former players, families of current players and donors. Yes, we don't have near the number of donors that the far less expensive state schools have, but we surprisingly do pretty good in spite of it all. All of our facilities have been upgraded and we are breaking ground on our state-of-the-art indoor facility. For whatever reason Miami administration has opened the purse strings and giving Richt anything he asks for.

I personally do not feel facilities are a big draw for recruits but feel it is based more on the school's "brand" i.e.: Miami in the 80's, Alabama, FSU & Clemson now, playing time and quality position coaches.

Threat posted that as long as Miami has Richt he was not too worried. I well understand the basis of that statement and I feel the same way about Mac. I just hope that both Miami & UF can find a good QB this year and have a decent offense.

Thank you for the explanation. We still hate your guts though. I always respected Richt as a coach until he did that stupid endzone penalty vs us when Meyer was here. I thought it was bush league and could've started an on field brawl.

So how about a list of say three correct hires and some indication of why they would want to come and be a Gator. You may not outbid some large college since everyone has money.

Mac may not be the answer but Champ surely was never going to be the answer. I really think we are deficient in our assistant coaches, I don't know why.

Great question. I've been told by the majority of the pumpers that I am unqualified to comment on AD hires and coaching hires...lol. So I laugh when they pose these types of questions back. IDK...It seems that Foley zeroed in on two of his guys and failed to conduct multiple interviews. That's only MHO. I feel Foley really let the football program go...in a bad way. Maybe Meyer's departure left a bad taste in his mouth...who knows but he has failed miserably in his last two hires. I know...same story different day. Foley being around constantly is not reassuring at all. The guy needs to be put out to pasture.

So you have avoided the question, which is fine. My answer is that there is almost nobody who would be on such a list. The guy from Memphis is the only one I can think of and the timing was not right.
