QB,DL,LT are very important. The 2019 class looks like it has three solid commitments in these areas. It is not easy to get top DTs who make their grades. Our 6-4. QB commitment runs a 4.45. Forty. We now have a 4 star QB,DT and LT which are crucial positions.

Agree. Controlling the trenches is very important, For what ever reason it is harder to find a top DT with grades than an OL with grades .

The QB is the highest paid position . LT who protects the QB's blind spot gets paid well also as does the DE who tries to take out the QB.
'
DTs are also highly paid but in college they have to have grades (no grades needed for NFL) so getting a DT with grades in college is big.

Absolutely. Other positions will be important - some years - but the quality of player in the trenches often decides games. Might throw QB in there but not necessarily based on stars - fit for system is way more important than finding the highest Rivals rated dude.

OL & DL...there are other sexier positions but, OL & DL set the tone for the team... right now we are not great at either position - especially OL. Mullen needs to step it up...
