John Wayne. According to me not even close. Played tough guys in a variety of ways and then someone dying alone. Did it all with flair.

Robert Duval's body of work will blow you away. I think he was in the Guiness Book of World Records at one time.........

I would've said Harrison Ford. Looks like Samuel L Jackson overtook him him as the highest grossing actor of all time. I love seeing Anthony Daniels still in the top ten. He and the guy who played R2 were number top 5 for a very long time.

I would hope so considering Jackson at one point was in about 50 movies a year it felt like and he got his Marvel bump.

James Bond was the highest grossing Franchise forever...then came the new stars wars...now the MCU.

I'd say Reagan was the most successful movie star ever. You know, leader of the free world, conquerer of communism, and all that.

Same. But Clint makes sense. Been doing it at a high level for so long and hasn’t had many if any duds

I was watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 a few years ago, I believe they were "commenting" on the 1955 film: Revenge of the Creature (of the Black Lagoon).
They mentioned something like: "...his first and last movie":

Personally, I love it that it's Clint.
