Missy State had 7 bowl wins in 115 years before Mullen went there. He had 6 in 8 years. He’s the best coach they ever had and probably ever will. Donkey, I love ya bro, but STFU.
Actually, taggart is 2-15 against ranked teams all time so Dan doesnt actually have the worst percentage. Dont know why the media wont bring that up #fakenews
Because he’s black.
Awkward... Tired of all these black folk getting the better of these less fortunate white people. if only we could hold them back for 4-500 ye..... wait
Yeah, that too!
No one will ever rule the Independence and Liberty Bowl like that.
Yeah..... Well... You know. Urkel was adorable.
You're an idiot. It's ranked vs ranked all-time and Dan Mullen is the WORST in HISTORY. Own it. Don't hide from it or excuse it or dress it up or LIE. Dan is actually 4-29 vs ranked teams. It's a **** record and we hired him. But but but he was outmanned....wahhhhhh Fragile f-ing fanbase. EDIT: I know he has me on ignore but someone correct the bastard.
I have no doubt that there will be a major difference in Mullen coached teams at Florida. He knows firsthand what a championship team should look and practice like. Mullen won't approach this job the way he did at MSU. He did a good job with the talent he had there, but the stakes are much higher at Florida. He knows what the expectations are here from the administration and the fanbase. From all the accounts I've read, the 2006 and 2008 championship teams both consisted of a collection of guys that were all INSANELY competitive in everything they did on and off the field. He recognizes this and will consciously create the kind of environment where his players will always be competing with one another, even if it results in the occasional skirmish in practice. Also, he is said to be a perfectionist in regards to coaching quarterbacks. You better believe that if Franks or Jones aren't meticulous in their preparation and execution, they're gonna be held accountable. I am confident that mediocre effort won't be tolerated like it was under Mac.
That is like every football team, ever.
I'm absolutely shocked that context is lost on you.
Are you saying he didn't try his hardest? I'm sorry but please explain this comment. All of a sudden he's gonna coach harder? He was on auto-pilot? Lower expectations so lower effort? It's an odd statement. It sounds like another rationalization for his results.
Another Gator snowflake.
Oh, it's quite clear who's fragile in here.
As others say, Sherril won when the West was weaker. Can't be argued. Though I'll agree he was a damn good coach, for MSU standards. On the other point about ranked teams... I'm not putting Taggart into the conversation as it wasn't SEC. Among SEC coaches with shtty records against ranked teams....I though Mac owned that?
https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/m...n-mullen-worst-record-vs-ap-ranked-team-time/ Also, I bet every historically bad SEC team is enjoying all-time success in recent years. With the addition of that extra game and surplus monies...I bet the average SEC record per team...is the best it has ever been. Point being, Vandy, Ole Miss and yes MSU are experiencing historical winning %'s. I bet the stats bear it out if someone did the research.
