If Muschamp is going to be a successful head coach in the SEC, he must learn the following:
1. The game of football requires both a defense and an offense.
2. Big, fast recruits are usually better than slow, small ones.
3. You tend to lose the respect of others when you behave like a jackass on the sideline.
4. You cannot afford to treat the Press as an ignorant enemy.
5. Hire a great offensive coordinator and let him (or her) do the job without interference.
6. Learn to communicate with, coordinate, and motivate players like a CEO would do.
7. Humility is a good thing in a head football coach.
8. Pray that the football gods take pity on you and send you a little good luck.
