Anyone have his offer list. Stars aren't the only thing you should look at. Look who offered him

We will be battling Bammer for this kid til the end. Bammer loves 3 star guards and DTs.

I agree with the sentiment, but not as to its application to this kid.

Really because the three DTs they got last year were all four stars. Weird. The year before they landed FIVE star Daron Parker. Weird

I could be wrong, but it seems most of your 4 and 5* DTs are rated that highly because they're crazy athletic and test well at high school combines.

I just don't remember that often seeing a kid of his size being rated in the top 100. Maybe someone can prove me wrong.

FWIW, this kid is 6'1, 345 as a HS JR. Terrance cody was 6'5, 395 coming out of JUCO. He's got another year to get bigger & stronger.

I'm excited about this kid.

I'm excited too, Rockin. Heard Urban Meyer called him the next Percy Harvin!

He was worried about someone taking his place in the class? Does he know which school he's committing to? It's not Alabama of FSU, for goodness sakes, this is Florida, the home of the Pillsbury Dough Boy. By the way, those of you who are moaning and groaning about the assistant coaches ability to recruit are forgetting that it's the Head coach that makes the difference, not some stinkin' assistant coach. Saban goes through assistant coaches like Tiger Woods goes through women, yet it hasn't affected Alabama's recruiting at all. I do think this is a good pick up for Florida, and recruiting rankings are made by guys that don't evaluate players because their job depends on it. Scott is a big body, and you don't need to be tall to be a nose guard. Anyway, beggars can't afford to be choosy. The Pillsbury Dough Boy's first two classes were, by far, the worst of any Gator head coach in memory. He says the same exact thing to every recruit, something like, "You're our number one guy and you're going to be a Gator, so I'm not worried if you commit now because it's inevitable that you are going to be a Gator..." Is there any wonder that the competition is lapping UF in recruiting

It's not uncommon to see good NT/DT and Offensive Guards rated at 3 stars. Most recruiting service evaluators are too busy watching the 5 star DE/LB rush specialist score a sack because one of these monsters was busy tying up 2 and sometimes 3 offensive players at the same time.
Same goes for OG's, while the evaluator is slobbering over the RB's 4.4 speed he completely misses the behemoth that kicked out past the tackle and knocked the DE's d!ck in the dirt which springs the play open in the first place....

I'm not complaining we sorely need big bodied defensive tackles and we need to continue establishing depth at the position

Well all of us do...besides one.

Like a turd in the punch bowl, only takes one to ruin it for everybody.

You don't get it. This is just SOP for this underachieving staff. It is status quo. Some of you will say the the exact same thing about every kid. Good get. Look at his film. He's underrated. Same crap. Over and over.

This is just the norm. I'm getting used to it. Saban, Jimbo, Richt, Smart are running circles around him.

I am glad we got this kid, but don't know if he is a stud. We need to build depth at this position so as long as we get a couple more guys I don't think there is any issue here
