NIT Rule Changes

NCAA is making some rule changes for the NIT this year. 3 line is going back to FIBA length, 4 quarters and 5 fouls to bonus in each quarter, and a wider lane are a few rules.

I like the 3 line going back in distance.

I do like the halves, but always thought it was odd. Women bball already has the 4 quarters so I can see this rule adopted for the men.

Teams will also get 5 fouls per quarter until bonus. I would like to see a 6th foul added for players.

Like the quarters and the shot clock change, hate the 3 moving back, I like 3's so much I want a 4 point line.

Having 2 halves has never made any sense. The NBA doesn’t have 2 halves. Would it make sense for college football to go to 2 halves instead of 4 quarters?

Seriously, it’s the NIT. Who cares?

The tournament is pointless so why not use it for experimentation?

Not only the NBA but middle school and high school ball. Men’s NCAA is the only place it’s 2 halves. It’s stupid
